Kyle and I bought our home 8 years ago this month and we just had our bedroom painted for the first time about 2 months ago. When choosing a color, I wanted something neutral-ish but still something where you can definitely tell the walls are painted. I came across Sherwin Williams Evergreen Fog, which is the ‘color of the year 2022’ and I immediately loved it! It’s actually very similar to our entry way bathroom. The Sherwin Williams website says that Evergreen Fog is “Soothing, subtle, and a perfect shade to freshen up any space”. I’d have to agree, I love it.
Our bed was purchased from Bob’s Discount Furniture. We’ve purchased several pieces of furniture from there (our living room sectional couch, the recliner chair in the nursery) and then this bedroom set. We have the bed, dresser, chest and 2 end tables. We’ve had this set for about 2 and a half years now.
The bedding set is from Amazon. I love how the rust color looks with the green walls and white furniture. I think it all balances it out nicely. The blanket is super comfortable and perfect for the fall and winter time when it’s nice to be all snuggled up. I just got this bedding set for Christmas and love it already.

Wooden Alarm Clock (this one is sort of similar to the one I have, but this one doubles as a wireless cell phone charger also which is neat)
We have the Google Home smart speak but I am having a helluva time trying to find it to link it. We’ve had it a while so maybe it’s discontinued now? Here is one that is similar, not made by Google, but it does work with Google Assistant. Also there is always the Amazon Echo Dot.
Of course the canvases are no longer available at the time of writing this post but here’s the link just in case and here’s a set that is similar.
I’m having fun finally decorating our bedroom. I still need to do Kyle’s side of the room and also decide if I want to put anything on the wall space above our bed.
The mirror is from Hobby Lobby. I love this mirror so much and I think we got it for about $60 since it wa 50% off. The macrame wall hanging was a gift and bought locally but here is a similar one.
I love this bookshelf so much! It comes in white, black and rustic brown. It was relatively easy to put together. But I say that as someone who just watched my husband put it together 🤣
The floor lamp was purchased from At Home. We actually have a 2nd one in the living room as well.
